| Guest chapter 14 . 7/10 It's so heartwarming to read this charming story of the wonderful experience of bringing up a child with love and it's such a pleasure for being so different (so far) from all the awful angst ridden HP stories. My one thought was that you might want to warn readers about the miscarriage early in the story or at the head of the chapter as any reader who has recently experienced such a loss might be upset. |
 nalla7 chapter 29 . 5/20 I had added this to my favourite stories list a long time ago and just reread it today; I love this so much! When I read your Petunia, I'm able to completely dissociate her from canonPetunia, but at the same time, recognize how her loss created the divergence and see the shadow of who she might have been (ie her canon form). Her relationship with Harry is so sweet and I love how we get to see him grow up with the love and parenting that he missed out on. In this chapter, with Harry talking about hand-me-downs, I thought about the Weasleys and how this might be similar to their experience and it got me wondering how Harry's friendship with Ron will change, if Ron will still envy Harry, and if Harry will even be friends with Ron and Hermione... I really enjoy this story and I hope to read more one day. Thank you for writing! |
