I was just re-reading this (because as I wrote when reviewing "Everything That Drowns Me Makes Me Want To Fly" that I love gratuitous amounts of Steve whump in my fics.) I read 'em and hoard them like buried treasure. Yes, I know it's probably a sickness…but I know others share it based on the McGarret h/c communities :)
But I stunned to see that I hadn't left you a review for your masterpiece. The apparent, incredible one-shot which also inspired you to write more for us readers. A big thanks!

I just came upon this story, and I thought it was fantastic. You really conveyed Danny's range of emotions, from anger to anguish to a need to seek revenge. I would definitely be interested in reading a follow-up.
