GREAT writing. But kinda scary, because he's right. However evolved/developed/civilized we supposedly are, we live in a world where war (constant small scale and sometimes grand) is almost a matter of course. Where violence and destruction and death play a part in too many lives every day.
Of course, Star Trek and it's marvelous ilk exaggerate and dramatize messages to get them out there in the form of a marvelous story that most people can appreciate, no matter how terrifying such truths are.
Hopefully the world will change some day. Hopefully, at some point everyone will be capable of settling there differences and coexisting peacefully.
But I won't hold my breath.

I loved this! It gives so much more depth that I wanted after seeing the movie. Haha when I watched space seed, I thought McGivers was def not a smart person. But I like your version of her as an accomplice and friend to Khan better :)

Love it! I just...can't quite sum up into words how much I love this little fic. I do wish there was more. You write Khan so well I can almost hear his voice narrating. _ Great job!
