And not only in character but also, how to say it, in voice so to speak - in Tite Kubo's voice. You have captured his style so well, his humor, every beat of each joke. I could vividly imagine this unfolding in manga.
The characters were so cute and adorable and true to themselves. I melted when Rukia proudly produced 'human money' while blushing omg That's my girl and NOT what certain fanon tries to turn her into (an adulteress, HER, dear god /shudders). Speaking of, all the shots and shades you've thrown at them was priceless lol

Okay this is quite unexpected. Thank god I read the prequel first. It would have ruined the fun of how hilariously misplaced intentions could cause such confusion and chaos. I think unlike Renji, Orihime thought of Rukia and Ichigo's relationship /that/ way in canon. I love how Ichigo's such a dork that he didn't quite know how to phrase it. He shows how much of a teenager he really is.
