All the characters here are just perfect. Carla is especially funny. It is good to see a story that goes back to the beginning of Sam and Diane's relationship.

I love the characterization for Sam, Diane, and Carla (especially Carla's bitter tongue. lol)

Such a fun AU on Ring. Really picks up the S/D relationship pace and leaves me wondering what happened next. Keep writing Cheers, if not a continuation of this story, then another!

I've long thought that, though she'd never admit it to anyone (at least not for a while), Diane always saw Sam as her "hero", of sorts, for saving her from this terrible situation of having nowhere to go. He was there for her, when she needed it most.

Interesting "spin" on the ending scenes of "Give Me A Ring Sometime". As his "help" comes in offering to effectively take her out for a drink, instead of offering the job (just yet, anyway)...it would seem to indicate a different "direction" than the series actually takes. Will their relationship blossom much sooner than in the show?

Interesting. I'd sure like to see where you'll take this new direction. Well done!
