Is it bad that the first time I'm almost crying(actual tears in my eyes) is not when Marion "died" or Jack's past revealed, not even when Shepard and Liara are being assaulted and their child taken or any of those other tear jerking moments. But when Kaidan(who I've never actually let live past ME1 btw) who is half asleep literally, jumps out of bed no questions asked no doubts in his mind and surges into action grabbing anyone and anyone to go straight to Shepard's rescue from across the damn galaxy.

Hot damn. Looks like I have one more story before I hit the main dish. You'd think Shepard would've had enough of crashing shuttles by now xP

I really liked this, it felt like being on a rollercoaster. I'm gonna pick up another story of yours, a current one because now I'm curious to see how you evolved. I'm reading a lot and working on an original story so it might take me a while to start reviewing but I will. I'm too curious now.

Shepard, Liara and Aria are my favorites. This revage quest they're on is like reading candy.

Aria fired her gun and executed the salarian. "It's just business."

Asari power, ftw.

"They're still dead Liara! And my unit on Akuze, I knew every one of them, some of them had children like Benezia. They're dead too, because of me. And... Ashley... everyone else I've lost. We make choices Liara and sometimes other people...innocent people, pay the price. You can't let it get to you Liara. It'll eat you alive if you do. Trust me I know. Stay focused, Benezia needs you. I need you."

This is why the story feels rushed. Something like this, I think it should be set up slowly. The action in this story is great, but the emotional exploration lacks depth. Just my opinion, though. I feel you had a lot of opportunities to explore it further without grounding the story to a halt. The reader, just like the character needs time to assimilate things.

Shepard's reaction to the dead batarias was powerful. I hope you show what's going on inside her head a bit more.
Your lines for Garrus are awesome. They always crack me up.
I've been reading published works and let me tell you, even though your pace is a bit rushed on this story, it reads really freaking well. Usually if I switch from fan fiction to novels, I feel a difference in sentence structure and something else I can't pinpoint. The only thing that I wish this had was a slower pace in some of the parts. Or a scene for Shepard, Liara and Garrus to take stock of things.

I think I've said it before but since I stopped on chapter 4 like, 2 months ago, I don't remember: you have great talent for getting Shepard and Liara into trouble. I seldom read a fic that has such a good grasp of the idea of putting characters in impossible situations to make the reader wonder how the hell are they going to get out of this one.

I'm on to the next chapter even though I should go to sleep. Damn you :)

For the life of me the sight of Liara slapping Garrus is so bizarre that I had never considered it. It cracked me up.

That and "every landing is a happy landing". Hilarious.

Oh shit. So, I'm liking all this. This chapter in particular needed a few commas, I think. But again, you really have a handle on how to move a story forward. And that's like half the battle. :)

No, Aira does not look like a fucking babysitter. Hehe, Gosh, Aria is such a suave asshole, it's endearing. You wrote her very well. I would've loved to see her interact with baby Benezia, though, would've been fun :)

I really like how you put Shepard and Garrus in danger, the firefights are really nice and clear to picture.
Also, damn you have a knack for moving a story along. The pacing on this is fast, I love it so far.

I loved that "Well...shit" line.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAH. Oh my Lord. That last line made me laugh so hard. It was so awesome.

Well so far I'm really loving all of this but specially the humor. How dare they step on Shepard's garden? The nerve.

And I can't say no to a blue baby tugging at Shep's hair. Or Liara and Shep romance.

I must say, all the dialogue between Shepard and the Batarians was both hilarious and spot on. Very much in character. As was the rest of the story but that particular moment stood out for me.

Your Shepard is so badass, as she should be.

Great chapter, loved the description of just how screwed the barbarians and their worlds were.
