Well I loved it, thanks ever so. I also tend to 'rake 'em over the coals' in any story I do so... One rather has to ask if you really like them.
Yeah, I do; it's just something I can't seem to avoid. Kind of like picking at scabs.
I liked the characterizations, dialogue (sure wish I were as good at it) and that you a) included Bud and b) did it without trying to pair up people who...just aren't. And, seeing the other types of stories you have, I may have to check one or two others out.

This is an excellent in between scene. I love Bud's peeve about being held from his jobs and being made late. Rosalee, Monroe, and Bud were all in character. Great piece. Please write more!
