I normally do not review stories, but I had to, on this chapter. "An Occurrence on Owl Creek Bridge" is one of my favorite stories, and the way that you wove this beautiful story to parallel that, was simply breathtaking. An absolute masterpiece.

Oh, please do more! I really love all these, and there's so many more you could do! More whump for the brothers and stuff when they first come to America and stuff like that :)

Poor Connor… He's not usually the hotheaded one, but the stress of it all got to him this time. Good choice in not getting so drunk, Connor! I'm glad that Murphy came back in one piece. Connor never would've forgiven himself if something would have happened to Murphy! ;) I was bracing myself… No good usually comes from those two being apart. I love this series! 3

You write Murphy whump really well. When I finished reading this chapter, I actually said "wow" out loud. Incredible writing and so well thought out.

I always appreciate how clever a writer you are, my most favorite line in this chapter was "He wasn't the Saint dealing out truth alongside justice." Very cool. Well done.
