Wahhh, I’ve waited for this story to update so long, I’m so happy! I don’t know why you’re worried about your writing, it’s honestly really good. I think your doing a great job with Erin, her trauma sounds real and not edgy like most people turn it out. I actually read this story before your reboot, but I can’t remember the backstory (its been so long lol) and your detailed writing is making me really intrigued. Anyways keep up the good work, I’ll be looking forward to the next chapter.

Love to see an update! I think the way you went with her fighting back in this version is honestly more realistic and I completely agree with that being seen as more powerful. Fighting back when you know you can’t win but you’re doing it to give it everything you have to protect someone is so powerful and meaningful to me. I can tell you’re coming from a different headspace when writing this and (not that the originals was bad by any means) it feels like the story has the ability to hold a lot more meaning and depth than it did before because of that. so I was rereading this story, and when Truth says that Erin won't even know the toll is gone, was the toll her passage back to her world?

Well I was not expecting that ending at all, and now I must wait with anticipation, which is the worst thing ever!
