TheDidactsHand chapter 1 . 11/10/2017
Actually ME guns are inferior in terms of stopping power. You talk about Physics, when it has been proven an object moving at relativistic speeds does more Damen, than a smaller object moving at faster speeds. Hints why a 45 caliber does more damage than a 9mm. Lmao. And the UNSC utilizes 7.62, 9.5 KURZ, 14x15.99mm, and eight gauge shells. And you assume they use the base gun powder formula, when it's been 700 years since the discovery. Gun powder has evolved, and it will continue to evolve. Lastly, the bullets are all duplexes uranium tungsten carbide rounds, so that's allot more stopping power than today's bullets. The only advantage ME guns have is reloading. That's it.

UGH! Why is all the good fanfics like this never updated after the author gave a A/N and making a promise to his/her readers on the status?
Worldmaker chapter 3 . 5/25/2017
There are a couple of exceptions to your arrogant assertion that all Mass Effect weaponry is low compared to Halo tech.

Namely, Halo tech still uses low velocity chemically propelled weapons. ME guns beat Halo guns hands down, every time. Face facts. Your own canon is against you, not to mention the laws of physics. For that matter, given what Mass Effect personal armor needs to stand up to, that's superior as well.

You have to love a rabid fanboy who doesn't think things through.

Vates159 chapter 10 . 3/9/2017
I just reread your story again and wanted to say how much I love it. I don't know if it'll ever be updated again but I'll always hope that it will. Easily one of the best stories I've ever read.
MajorKO chapter 10 . 1/28/2017
Take your time man, all of these things you've listed are definetly more important than a story, so do what you must and focus on other things. That being said, I'm totally excited to see what else happens in this story.

KhazintheDark chapter 3 . 4/25/2015
I followed as soon as I saw 'Sparatus gets bitch', so far loving it. Please excuse the next part as I feel it's obligatory as an ME fan, and I freely admit to not knowing much about the lore of Halo.

I'm not disagreeing that ME's tech level in the games is a bit crappy but that's because of its ipossible/i applications which aren't realised because it would either; make things too difficult for the player/programmer or require the willing suspension of disbelief. Quite frankly I was more confused about why they couldn't build a suit with eezo nodules in it which simulated biotics. Or why there was recoil in the first place (their guns are basically mini-rail guns firing a projectile with almost 0g mass, that's electrical current so no propellant and I've just realised that I'm getting too far into the tech side of things. Oh and the bit below was written first.)

Halo tech is extremely high-powered yes but that doesn't mean that Mass Effect tech isn't underpowered in and of itself, after all the ability to fling molten metal at any percentage of light speed can't be underestimated. It's applications when crossed with other tech bases can (author depending) make it a gamechanger. The problem is the Asari's stagnation/control as the most advanced race due to the beacon on Thessia and the overall glacial pace at which the Council does anything pretty much jams a 2km long pike up the metaphorical arse of technological innovations.

Also I think there may have been something along the lines of it being much easier to produce than anything else so when it's reached the races try to master it before going onto something else and given that the Relays/Citadel are seen as the pinnacle of technology (and it took the Protheans almost 50,000 years to make their own) time runs out before they can build equivalents. Not sure though.
abraxas01 chapter 6 . 1/31/2015
My only point of contention in this chapter was that a junior NCO was giving orders to a junior commissioned officer. Jokes was a flight lieutenant, a rank that originated in the RAF but is none the less a commissioned officer and thus is NOT outranked by a Corporal. That all being said, the gun to the head does change things, which I kinda think was the point... but oh well.
Lieutenant Paladine chapter 9 . 11/18/2014
Hey there sir! I have greatly enjoyed your story, and have read it more than once. I would like to say: Happy First Birthday to your son! I hope things are going well for you and your family. I would like to encourage you as well, as you have a great gift for writing stories. This one in particular has captured my attention, and I would love to see more. However, I know that that is not always possible, so if I have to wait a year or two for the next update then so be it. I can be flexible.

God's blessings for you and your family,
LP

(I would have reviewed the previous chapter to post this, but apparently I have already done so.)
