It is in MHO that an author should not have to beg for feedback. Don't get upset or feel disrespected when readers ask for more updates. If you are truly writing for fun, then be happy someone is actually reading your stories. Trying to guilt readers into giving you your jollies will only lead to resentment. Sure you aren't making any money for your stories so if you feel slighted then stop writing. Again if you are writing for fun then keep writing (because you are really good) and take the feedback as it comes. It genuine that way.
