I really enjoyed this. Though you should take out the part about Joan second guessing Lisbon's partner's gender. Lisbon already said "he" before that so the hearing the name Jane wouldn't change anything. She already knows he's a he.

Excellent story. I really loved that Joan thought Jane needs a good slap up side the head. I've through that for a long time. One of the reasons I don't watch the show any longer, but this little conversation was wonderful to read.

I love the way you've written these two interacting; both are strong, empathetic women, and that comes through clearly, as does the obvious understanding that they possess for one another. Now I'm picturing them swapping horror stories and consultant-sitting tips...

I absolutely love that you shifted this ahead a year, I love what it does to the tone. Joan and Lisbon also fit together in a way that's really cool and that I think you pulled off really well.

Okay, I admit it. I'm obsessed with Sherlock (the BBC-version, though) and if anyone on the planet should ever meet, it's Lisbon and Watson (femare or not) and you pulled it off very nicely, indeed. Also, you wrote it, so double-win for me. Yay!

I suppose this will be the most interesting and amusing flight Lisbon and Watson ever had - and the most peaceful one, too, without their respective annoying partners there to distract them.

This was good, I haven't caught Elementary yet ( I know so slow...) but have read stuff about it, and this was great, nice that you didn't choose the male characters...the ladies are so much more interesting...well hearing how they cope with the male of the species is anyway.

Beatifully done! I really love this. Elementary has been doing such great job on developing joan/sherlock relationship and it's nice to read it on same platform with Mentalist. I just wish this was longer story though :p

Aww, I liked that! Like the idea of Watson and Lisbon meeting and sharing their stories. I bet they will trade consultant babysitting tips too. ;) Liked how each woman used the deductive abilities their partners had taught them.

I think you should do a follow up to this, such a friendship is promising.
