Oh my god I love these so much! Ok, so I know I'm posting a review 2 years late, but I just recently got into this fandom and I can't get enough of these two! I love your writing style, and your ideas are so unique and original and it's great! This one shots really give me the feels, especially since I just saw this years Christmas special! Bravo, my friend, bravo!

I actually just thought of a suggestion but feel free to completely ignore it. :-) The suggestion is both of their first times holding hands and running. For the Doctor it was in the Library and River's was some unknown time. It's just a little thing but I found the concept interesting and very them.

Aww, that was actually really cute. Great job! And I know, I love Alex, and I have no problem with how old she is compared to Matt, and it doesn't seem that either of them have a problem with it either. It's somewhat ironic when people complain about that and then don't realize that the Doctor is hundreds of years old than whomever they want him to be with. Oh well.
Anyways, great chapter! Can't wait for more, Happy Holidays!

Jealousy between them, with all those secrets and spoilers and ripping holes here and there... Seems logical to me that this kind of pain would happen at some point, and you made it so sweet. Not cheesy - definitely not cheesy, but rather... heartfelt. (Am I using this word correctly ? Still this little "being french" problem, see. Sorry again if there's any mistake in my review and all that, you were kind enough last time to mention there weren't any, hope it's gonna be the same in this one ! Whatever, back to the point.)
Heartfelt, yeah. Deep from her heart - I really loved River's part. I think I'm getting fond of the way you make her look, strong indeed but aware of her weaknesses. Human, actually, and a pretty decent one I'd say, far from the stereotyped-Rivers we usually read in fanfictions.
Time to stop babbling nonsense in this review, thanks again for this new chapter, I can't wait to read the next one ! Definitively one of my favourite Doctor Who stories so far. Hope to get more of it real soon !
(Also hoping the dark stuff you mentioned in your life this past week gets better real soon as well, whatever it is.)
