stoic.hypocrite chapter 1 . 10/28/2015 the thing i liked about this fic is they were not OOC then they were not that intimate and also the way you portray them is so poetic it melts my rotten heart. |
bassyxoxolizzy chapter 1 . 11/28/2014 Really nice, I love this paring. Your writing had a elegant flow and a somber tone all in one. Nice job. |
Isanna chapter 1 . 4/15/2014 The way you write these two is really wonderful... |
AnberlinEve chapter 1 . 10/6/2013 Hmm, this is beautiful. Love the references of winter and flowers. Very nicely done, the relationship between those two is written perfectly. :) |
Nom de Plume chapter 1 . 7/7/2013 The closest similarity I found between this story and your other one is that Akane works with Makishima here too but as for new ideas on exploring new angles of these two's relationship... let's just say, the most unlikely situation can expose some interesting results... I trust your ability as a writer and your sturdy characterization of these two to believe that you can pull off some AU!situation because really, that's the only way one can pull this pairing off. Canon-wise, I think it's possible too, but that is definitely more complex and requires more careful planning. I like how this one-shot was actually more poetic. How you left no quote, no word, no metaphor without its own purpose... such as how you reused the personified winter's fingers and autumn leaves in the end... the implication of death and the never-ending cycle of life/death and (perhaps, indirectly the Sybil System or just civilization in general). And that quote... I enjoyed how you juxtaposed the two times Akane said it, how her feelings had changed with each time she used it. And really, I can just go on&on about how lyrical and beautiful your words were but I think you get the point. Continue to keep spawning new ideas! And do not be afraid to use outrageous ones. The best way to explore after all is if you put these characters in a situation that even the anime's author hadn't imagined. A writer's true talent is shone through how well they can handle and manipulate the characters and any kind of situation; and I believe you have the guts and ability to do it. |
Boulette de riz chapter 1 . 5/13/2013 It's been some time since I've been to Psycho-Pass fandom (since the last episode was posted, I believe), and I find a lovely piece of work ! Seing a Shogo-san x Akane already made me happy, but reading your one-shot made me happier ! w Your writing style is really good, and the way you put just short moments between them is very interesting. You say that there's no plot, but I don't think this fic needs one. It's all about exploring Shogo-san's and Akane's feelings, while the reader is discovering a new depht in their relationship with each moment. It's bittersweet, awfully abrupt/honest, and I think that's the way I picture their relationship in my head. Thanks a lot for writing such a nice one-shot, I really enjoyed it ! _ (and thanks God for authors that are willing to write for this pairing. Shogo-san x Akane needs more love !) |
Kary Bobbins chapter 1 . 5/12/2013 "We were never beautiful together" This fic is beatiful, poetic and I'm kinda speachless, I just love it. Also I don't think they're OOC. You're an amazing writter :D |
Isis Lied chapter 1 . 5/11/2013 This is just so perfect! I'm also writing a Makishima/Akane fic (although it's more of a comedic, less introspective kinda thing), but I doubt it will be as good as yours. Hehe, keep up the good work! Your writing is so beautiful! |
Alei-lei chapter 1 . 5/11/2013 Bro I don't even watch Psycho-Pass but I wholly support Akane/Shogo. Keep going! |
Liber Fatum chapter 1 . 5/11/2013 Beautiful! There is just something very movingly poetic in the way you write that simply captures the appeal of the shogo/akane relationship. Bravo and keep it up! |
Amanda chapter 1 . 5/11/2013 Oh, dear god. This is brilliant. The pacing was so well done and I don't even want to even talk about technique. Simply magical stuff. The imagery of winter being death (Makishima) and autumn/spring (Akane) was so well thought out. Personally, I don't think that this lacks plot. It works well enough that the story creates its own plot. And OOC? No, I don't really think so. I find you write Makishima and Akane as both spectators to their own creation. As people distance from the event but at the same time involved in the actions leading towards it. You are talented, don't doubt yourself. |
SwallowSword chapter 1 . 5/11/2013 This was so beautifully written! The way you portrayed the slow, hidden intimacy, the beautiful yet destructive relationship between Akane and Shogo was absolutely breathtaking. Great job! |
