I personally don't think Red John is a psychic, I mean almost everybody on the list is someone Jane has either had a problem with or has said he does not like. The only two that I don't recall Jane having a problem with or saying he didn't like was Sheriff MacAllister and FBI Agent Reede Smith.

I didn't notice that how Barlow said it maybe similar to how Lorelai said it to Jane, but I did notice however that Lisbon may have set herself up to have Barlow announce that she may be in love with Jane. The reason I think that is that when Barlow asked Lisbon what she did that night she glanced at Jane, I didn't notice it when I first saw the episode but when I saw a clip I noticed it. That's assuming though that Barlow isn't a real psychic.

Great story, I think you captured the the emotions of that episode very well. :-)

Hmmm..maybe red john is trying to figure out exactly how close jane and lisbon are. Maybe red john told loralie to say "you're a little bit in love with her" to jane and then report back and had barlow ask lisbon the same thing and report back. So maybe now red john knows they're in love. I have a feeling that at some point next season lisbon will be directly threatened by red john. Thanks for the story. I hope they kiss in season 6.

I would have loved to hear what she was about to say in the car when Jane interrupted her. A confession I think? That's why he cut her off and apologised for being controlling and secretive.
