Oh, how I enjoy this story so much! I've read most of your Lokane and have only avoided this one and "The Language of Flowers" because they are unfinished, but I caved today and read this one.

How I enjoy it so! I like how you modified "Jack and the Bean Stock" to be "Fenris and the Vine" and thus giving us Loki's inspiration for his name choice in "Fallen Star." It was great seeing Loki consistently waking Thor up from his nightmares as well.

Loki killing Balder was so horrible! Poor Loki! And seeing Thor and Loki still struggle with the repercussions of what happened that night. Oh, my heart.

And this chapter was most curious. Loki has great attention to detail, else they'd all be dead. And now we know where the dent in Loki's helm came from! My heart breaks at the interaction between Sif and Loki at the end. My poor dears.

I realize that I don't have much of a hope of this story updating, as it has been 6 years since you last posted to it, but I will hang onto that thread of hope that you will come back to it. It's a great story, you are a great story teller, and I dearly want to see what else you had/have planned!

This chapter gives so much background and foreshadowing of the rest of the series. It is hair-raising to hear Frigga reciting scary tales of "terrible, barbaric, ghastly" Frost Giants to Loki. No wonder he sees himself as "the monster parents tell their children about at night". She and Odin may have eventually decided that the only way to keep Loki safe was to hide his secret forever, never even hint that he was anything but their son. And the nightmares will go away after Thor kills all the Frost Giants. Or someone else does, in his desperation.

Fenris and that silver lute and lovely song, we will encounter them again somewhere! But Frigga says that a spell assured that only a true Aesir can play it. Interesting...

I like this! Don't stop - it's fascinating to see through the eyes of Loki. :D

I love these small looks into Loki's past, I think they're very well written. :)

The Flower Language coming into this brings a hint of mystery and thoughts of forgotten eras. When I thought of Loki, the first thing to jump to my mind was never flowers, but when I read Fallen Stars it just fit so perfectly, as if it was absurd that no one had ever thought of it before.
Keep writing, stay inspired.

Why did Balder do it? What did he try to prevent? Shouldnt he have been perceiving Loki as the main threat to Asgard and not Thor?

So Loki wanted to shatter Balders protection because it bugged him, but ends up killing his brother? Wasn't Balder just about to kill thor? Why?What?How?Why?

WHY IT IS UNFINISHED? PLEASE FINISH IT! PLEASE!

Ok Missy, no more starting new stories and leaving us all hanging on the unfinished old ones. I know Daisy and Kylo Ren are fascinating and all, but when you say "to be continued" well, gosh darn it, we believe you!

So, wind up some of these little gems in Loki-land (especially the ones that are part of a larger universe) and Sherlock-ville too, while you're at it, and let us have some closure!

This is getting better and better. I like how the dreams were about things that happened in the films. Thor's is from the Avengers and Loki's is from Thor :-)
