Being strong and being a mary sue is different. Your character is strong and has reasons to be, just like Killua and Gon she comes from a family of strong fighters and as long as she works for it their is no reason she shouldn't keep or surpasse them.

Being a Mary Sue would have been : a day after learning Ten, Aion defeated Hisoka while not being hit even once.

My only criticism or request, is to tell who is talking at the end of dialogue. Some times I get confused, though that may just be me and the fact that it is 2:47 in the morning. haha Thanks for the great update.

My guesses for the Aion's Hatsu is;
Vampire Thrall, anyone she bites and drink blood from will become her Thrall.
Blood manipulation; manipulates her own blood easier to bear with her vampire regeneration

I can't see her using a video game as a medium, I think it'll be a needle or stake(cliche as that is)

Bottom line I dunno I put like 30 seconds of thought in.

I think Aion should be a manipulator, not for the personality reasons, but I feel like she could manipulate her body more easily as a vampire, so I think it fits better. IDK, I'm a bit weird, but I think she would be a good manipulator.

ANYWAY, please update soon, I love this story and can't wait to see more!
