Oh my. Instead of using a character everyone knows you got away to creating an OC. More than that your readers are in tears for him and the little blond girl. He kills her and I want nothing more than to jump into the story and save them both.

I know this was written over six years ago, but it's so heartbreaking and beautiful, I had to review. You know, it wasn't until after I was done with the story that I realized this Jedi Knight was left unnamed. You made this young man so very real, I subconsiously thought he had been identified by name in the story.

I just don't even know how to describe how moving this story was.

You've done an excellent job of making *all* your readers mourn, methinks. I know I did. While we'll probably never know this young knight's name, you've given him a strong, clearly delienated character. He's become such a real person to me. Just through his thoughts, loves, emotions and blurred memories, you've captured a living, breathing human being. There is no doubt in my mind - he lives. Everything about such a complex, layered, infinite person, this Jedi and the young one in his care, you've netted here. I love how the little blond girl is less of a character herself than a vehicle conveying the rich, finely detailed portrait of this young-old man. Master of your art you are.
