Noooooo! I'm so sad. It was a fun story you had going on. My favorite character was Shadow. I loved him from the manga books and was always devastated of his ending. To make Shadow, Dark, and Vatii brothers was genius. I cracked up when they named the statue in the temple of time Freddy. When I played the game I had named it Little Buddy. (And yes, I was sad to leave it behind.) I really liked how their dads were Sheikah. I did NOT see that coming. I hope maybe through time you change your mind and decide to finish this story any way. You were getting good at the story telling. Maybe the inspiration will come back? I have to say, the motivation it took to get this far is incredible! I plan on writing stories some day, I have so many ideas, but I find it so hard to stay focused and do the actual writing. What you did was inspiring. 33 chapters! I don't know if you'll ever read this comment, but on the chance that you do, thank you so much for the story and time you put into this. :)

Thank you for telling us instead of leaving this story open. I hope life never drags you so far down that you stop writing all together .

Well I am sad that you're not going to finish this probably, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. Vaati is one of my favorite villains and I never played four swords so I never got to really know Shadow so it wasn't as cool as Vaati or Dark Link but it was enjoyable nonetheless. I'm glad that you aren't going to force yourself to write something you aren't passionate about because that's not good for anyone, trust me I know. So while I'm sad I am also glad for you.

Ugh! It took me forever to get around to reading this! But I'm glad your back!

had to reread the entire thing to remember what was going on.
I gotta say, while there are a few pacing problems I've noticed now, it is still very enjoyable to read!
I had to take a short break at one chapter because it was just super obviously written somewhere around 2014, referencing deidara. It was just a weird revelation that was kind of funny to me.
I hope that life and inspiration are kind enough to you that I wont have to reread the entire thing again next time! Not that it would be awful to, or anything, but you know

*sees this updated, starts chanting* must not perform the happy dance, must not perform the happy dance, must not perfor... oh, who am I kidding *starts doing the happy dance*

On an unrelated note, just imagine the shock Ganondorf will feel when he sees Shadow, Dark, and Vaati. Oh, and while I'm on the topic of Ganondorf, PLEASE include the fishing rod in the final battle. It will be hilarious.

I love this story and can't wait to read what happens next. In regards to your question about bringing in the Four Swords Links, I say that if you don't put it in the story that it should at least be an omake. But I would like to make a suggestion: instead of the Links just randomly falling from the sky, why not make it so that the group finds the Four Sword and Shadow pulls it out without knowing that it is the sword? Here's my reasoning that this could be possible:

While the Master Sword is now the hero's main blade, I somewhat doubt that something that was made to seal something 'evil' would be destroyed; forgotten, sure but stories would persist about why the sword is left alone. Eventually, the geography changed and the Four Sword Shrine was lost.

Shadow may be his own person now but he was technically another piece of Link originally. With his origins stemming from the Dark Mirror, that could indicate that he was an aspect of Link that was removed prior to the Four Sword being drawn. As the sword would likely be able to tell, on some level, that this person was only a piece of a whole (technically) it could theoretically pull the other four pieces out.

Hope that this will give you an idea as to including the Four Sword Links. Can't wait to read what's next!
