It always pleases me to read a story where Dean actually knew Jess even if she doesn't live long it would comfort Sam if Dean had known her too.

Aaaaaaah, I loved all of this. And it WAS a happy story, even if you didn't plan for it to be like that haha. I really like Jess and Dean's interaction especially.

First of all, LOVE the title. Second of all, LOVE the story! You do happy so well! You did a wonderful job of showing how each character fits into this realm of relationship, how just because things are different doesn't mean they're not as good. This piece was fantastic in every sense, Pixie, excellent work!

I was happy when I saw this in my e-mail inbox...I like that there's still joking between Sam and Dean :) I miss that in the series, but for all I know, it could be happening b/c I'm sorely behind on SPN lol

Loved this and you wrote the way Dean and Jess converse with each other exactly how I imagined they would if they had actually got the opportunity to get to know each other! And yes, Dean would hit on her if she wasn't Sam's girlfriend! Awesome dose of brotherliness in this story, Sam with his defences a little down after the seizure and with the concussion and pain from the broken ankle, but Dean would know what his little brother needed even if he hadn't really said anything! Awesome ending, them sitting on the couch watching TV, and Dean just knowing Sam will be asleep and drooling on his shoulder soon!
