This was mostly pretty cute, but for me, it got a bit too sappy in the end when you made them soul mates. That was total HEA overload. To me, a good happy ending is like a piece of cake that's just the right size. If it's too small, it leaves you wanting a second slice. If it's too big, you get a sugar rush and start feeling a bit sick. Basically any ending that tells us its characters will always be together in perfect harmony is a slice of cake that's too big. It's sickly sweet. I'm talking about endings where there's not only a wedding but babies afterward, the couple becomes immortal lovers who will be together until the end of time (a la Twilight), or they end up as soul mates/have a soul bond. However, apart from the last chapter, I thought this fic was cute and fun to read and did enjoy it on the whole. Thanks for sharing!
