I started watching the Hansel and Grethel movie when I recognized Hansel's actor's nose. (google for the victory :P) After that I just had to see if there was any Avengers/Hansel and Grethel cross-over stories around, because that'd be just perfect.
That was yesterday. Of course I found this one, and I haven't been able to stop reading it since then. It did get a bit tough around 4am and some separation anxiety while at work, but it was well worth it. This story was brilliant!
I especially like it how easily you paint the characters mindspace and personality and how kick-ass cool you made Clint.
The way you told some additional back stories and extra flavors about the H&G-movie verse left me wondering if they got their own TV-series or books you were getting the ideas/perspectives from? Still haven't watched the movie... :P was too absorbed reading this. Also the Avengers side sticks pretty much to it's own movie verse (this being obviously pre-Thor and Ironman 3) so it's pretty easy to follow, but what else did you use for inspiration? :)
This story was brilliant as a stand alone, but I wouldn't mind of reading some more if you get inspired as more movies come out. :)
But there's just one itty bitty huge technical note I have to say about this story...
Please, next time... it would be so much better if you could maybe upload the story one chapter at a time, instead of a single post? It would make reading and also commenting on the story easier. That'a way I could "bookmark" in what chapter I was and find my spot again better latter. I kinda cursed that a few times when I was scrolling, having lost where I had been. :) Also, you said somewhere there's fan-art somewhere from this story?... :D
Anyway! Excellent work, and I really hope to read more of your stories.

I was so not expecting to like this story, but instead, I absolutely adore it :D the characterization was wonderful and the story was completely engrossing. Great job!

I'm not really sure what I expected when I decided to take a look at the exactly six "Hansel and Gretel" crossovers but... I'm fairly certain... THIS... wasn't it. I have nothing else to say besides, "Well done on the exceptional writing and keeping everyone relatively in-character."

OML (Loki) that was such a fantastical story , I loved every plot line in it. Your characters were spot on, Tonys little digs and sense of humor had me grinning throughout the story. I hope you Continue this story. I would love to read more about their adventures in the near future! ;-)

That's a long one, and yet, some of it I don't get it and some of it I'm not really fond of..
Like it turned out that Clint loved Coulson? Oh God..
And Natasha had been abandoned? Can't accpet it I guess?
And well, in some cases it's freaking confusing..
But still I love Tony Stark in here..
And Hansel and Clint.. Wow..
But the kiss between like the twin? Exaggerated I think? Wow.. Wow.. Wow..

This story is so awesome! I was thinking about something similar, but never really had the heart to write it. I couldn't stop laughing at the "unforgivable missed opportunity" where Clint kissed Hansel. I was actually expecting Gretel to show Ben and Edward the picture of the kiss or something.

Could you write another story like this? or some kind of sequel or something? Pretty Please?
