Enjoyed your take on Kate's explanation to her dad. Something we never got out of the tv episode which was sorely missing.

I just re read this story and it hit me all over again how truly beautifully written it is. I felt all these emotions all over again and I believe that is the test of true talent. Amazing job :)

I had always wanted to read a story that included Jim's reaction to the situation. The way Kate's message sounded to her dad, would set off the alarm bells for any parent. I like how you handled the scene... and of course, really really enjoyed the rest of the story! ;-)
