wow... wow! not gonna lie, after a few minutes of thinking about this ending, i started actually crying! which is Not what i was expecting when i set out to read every julius fanfiction i could find. i was expecting a few laughs and a whole lot of "eugh" because I Know How People Think Slash Thought Of Him

but this... i was super duper rooting for julius and molly... but im so happy for what they did find in the end, even if it's all bittersweet-oh god the tears are BACK

the ending isn't what i wanted but it is what they needed

the breakup hurt my heart but it's seeing them happy and friendly and finding new kinds of love that's really getting me hhhh im just... god this is probably the biggest emotional reaction i've gotten out of a story in years and it's a got dang fanfiction about a purple sparkleman from a cutesy farm sim

I am LIVING for this story! It's been a whilst since I've been able to read such good, satisfying content on FF dot net. As I said before, it's really, really fun to watch Julius and Molly's relationship grow! I loved both their backstories; it's great that they managed to find one another.

Oh, and as a side note: the word is actually just "transgender", not "transgendered" (that's not a word).

*cue delighted giggling* I seriously can't get enough of this! Molly and Julius have great chemistry together; it's fun reading about their interactions!

From that last review of mine way back in the story up to now, gotta say. Did not see where that plot was going until it hit me like a bag of steel bricks in the gut.

I was so mad at those two for not just taking a deep breath, sitting down, and talking stuff out. Festering unspoken never helps... but up until Julius chose Candace, I was rooting for him and Molly. Just kept hoping maybe they'd work it out! But sadly... life doesn't always end the way we want it to- and this story was an excellent example of that. Again, I love how everyone was characterised- and in the end, I love how it worked out. The resolution... though bittersweet, and the fact that it completely broke my heart, was fitting. It was, all the same... just a satisfying end to a very very good read.

I'm very glad I happened to find this story and even more so that I read it. (And that I'm leaving this review when it isn't 4:30am and I'm not dying of exhaustion). So thank you for writing it! It's just been such a pleasure to read, and I doubt I'll ever see a harvest moon characterisation stick with me more, or read a Julius story quite as addictive as this one.

So, normally when a story is done, I try to wait until the last chapter to give a review so as not to clutter an author's inbox with a ridiculous amount of posts for every chapter of, again, something that's already completed.

But there was something very specific in this chapter Julius said that I really just. Wow. I actually had to make a post on Facebook about it just to talk about how it affected me (this is a good thing, by the way! I love this story so much so far. I've just been curled up somewhere comfortable reading it, and I just can't help grinning at every little thing or the interactions and Sparta and chemistry... and how the characters are portrayed! I've read my share of HM fiction and this is some of the best characterisation I've ever seen of both Molly and Julius in general)

But man. This quote from this chapter is Julius.

"Let's just say that I believe in love wherever it's found. I don't believe that there's such a thing as fake love. Or just puppy love. It's either real or it's not. Either you're feeling something or you don't. That's the difference between leaving and staying."

I think, in pure honesty, that was one of THE most relatable things I've ever read in a piece of fiction... ever? It really struck just this massive deep chord in me, especially with some of the things I've been through in life.
I just identified with Julius so much because of that. Like I GET it. I just. Everything he feels, has gone through, does... that one quote just "yeah, there it is"

So, uh... congrats on that. That was amazing writing this chapter that just. (And every chapter) really hit the heartstrings of this one reader. I'm glad I found this and I'm excited to read the rest, but... yeah! There that is I guess!

The first story with Molly x Julius. never really thought about the match for them and got to say, this story is amazing with an unexpected ending. Its sweet, tragic and I wanted to cry! Great job! looking forward to reading other stories youve wrote!

It was like...I dunno I love it but I hate it. When I decided to read this I wasn't even a big fan of Julius but you made me love him throughout the story! You're writing style is real good by the way, I really enjoyed reading and I liked the way you described how the both of them changed during their relationship. I guess that's what made it sad in the end. Well, what I wanted to say is that 'Joy Divison' really touched me and made me thoughtful. So, thanks for this wonderful story! - (And sorry, my english is not that good yet, so I can't express myself perfectly)
