Lol! For certain someone who's spouting nonsense about touma without knowing anything, go read the novel! Basically, touma only helping not saving them and he does have a reason for always helping someone. Which is for his own sake. Like a hobby, you don't need a reason to do your hobby. He was no hero, true. He always said that he did is to bring a problem into open ending so no matter how great or bitter the conclusion is, both party can still smile cause there is still hope for the future. As for accelerator, why should he care if accelerator admire him or not? What he did was only saving the sisters and changing accelerator's outlook of them, not taking care of his psychological need. I think what misaka did was more heroic than touma. She take care of a problem till anti skill catch the culprit, rather than touma who get involve until his friend/ acquaintance saved and breaking the enemy's illusion/dellusion but not till the end. Because he was aware he doesn't have the right to decides what will happen in the end. Kamijou touma is a grey protagonist. So don't classify him in blacck and whit hero/villain. And the time when touma act like hero, everything goes wrong. Which after ww3 and not before it. It's true Ww3 caused by touma. Yet because of that too ww3 end easily.

Well... as your story ended... though it got replaced by the 'Meltdowner's Secret Love' story... I kind of liked this one at the starting and the last few chapters. Touma-kun joining I.T.E.M. well it is one of the most interesting developments I like highly. [I can't stand Hamazura at all... I don't know why]

Mugino is absolutely right, Touma's ideal to help everyone unconditionally without needing a reason is a bullshit. The real world is not made up of heroes who will always save others in times of need, people must accept reality for what it is trying to stand up on their own feet or they can never go on alone. Touma's reasoning has always been wrong instead, he always followed his sick ideal to the extreme just because he liked to help others by never thinking of himself once and thinking that doing so is normal and that " A reason is needed to save someone ", without him having a motive to act or something that had inspired this attitude in him, makes it too irrational, because no sane human being would act in this way. I just started reading this but the explanations and descriptions of what's happening are too damn long. There's like 100 words before the actual conversations happen and those actual conversations only has a few words then back to the long ass paragraphs.
