This is one of the best time travel fics of ff7! I love how its Clouds mother who gows back, practically a nobody in the grand scheme of things. Chaos calling her a butterfly is spit on. I do love coming back and rereading this fic. :)

This was a very interesting story to read. Often the parents persistence, will and tenacity when it comes to their children survival is overlooked in stories. It's nice to see that love acknowledged every once in a while.

I wonder why it is that Sephiroth feels such tranquility when he looks at the oho of cloud. Is it because he cannot hear the planets voice? I really enjoyed his tracking tracking through the mountains in search for the culprits of Nibelheim. I especially liked th seen where he laughs at is unpresentable appearance.

Above all I love who human all of the characters come across. It seems so natural and unforced yet still very much in character. Great job on this part.

So...um - is Raisa from Junon or Kalm? Because she seems to think one, and her husband seems to think the other...

Aside from that, an interesting twist on the time travel idea, I look forward to seeing where it goes.

I love your ingenuity of having a side-character (who is so minor they don't even have a name) the one who travels back in time instead of Cloud or Sephiroth or some other main (popular) character. And it actually makes sense why she was chosen, not only with the necessary motivation but also the opportunity to change things radically enough. And I love how Raisa grows into a pragmatist who knows that to affect change there would be a lot of spilled blood she'd be responsible of, and have the mental strength to go through with it despite her doubts.

Cloud is adorable, and I would love to see more of him (and Fenrir!) in Part 2. And Sephiroth! I hope he finds out the truth about himself before Hojo has a chance to twist it. I'm also interested in how Yuffie & Aerith will turn out with the huge change in their environment. Speaking of, I totally did NOT expect that scene with Zack. It seems he has the bad luck to still be experimented on this go around :( Hopefully he can break himself out soon.

Anyway, I'm rambling, so let me just say that this is one of the most (if not THE most) interesting Time Travel concept in the fandom and I'm very much looking forward to how the story goes. Definitely going on my Fave and Following lists!
