I don't know. To be honest, I cried when he 'raped' her (that's how I read it I mean c'mon he made blood come out of her for crying out loud!) and I cried when he accused her of taking advantage of him. Really? How dare he, after all she did was help him. And it was bad enough that she feels worthless let alone having that guy in the bar reject her. THEN the Doctor goes and tell her off saying 'that's the only way you get some' yea I completely disliked the Doctor at that point. (In all honesty, that part made me really angry, it all built up: the rape, the accusation..ughh) Also why call Donna overweight like that? As if she's ugly or something. NO. Donna is fricking beautiful. (Ok yea that's my opinion) but don't make her out for trash either. Alright. Alright. Enough ranting. Great fic nonetheless I liked the ending they seemed better there.. More stable.

Yep, that's one of the few ways I could see a 10/Donna pairing happen taking place. You managed to stay true to the characters. Well done!

Your note about consent, yeah, makes sense, but what I don't understand is why they're both ignoring that the Doctor, under the effect of whatever substance was in his system, effectively raped her. Sure, it was kind of consensual on her part at first, but then he became violent and she felt coerced to stay there.
