Uncas plays the piano! Somehow, I think it works! I also like how he is annoyed initially by Alice's behavior in the graveyard, but then sees her own self loathing. He notices everything!

And thus begins the changing of Alice Monroe, from proper English woman to a survivor of the terrors of war on the Frontier. I like how you put on her thoughts on first meeting Uncas, since it really does show the setting off of the soon to come events afterwards. Be strong Miss Alice. Be strong.

Now that I think about it, Alice would freak out at least a bit if she was introduced to the serpents of the Frontier. And I could see Uncas guiding her to conquer some of her fears. Cue another D'AAWWW moment. We don't get enough cute moments like this. :3

I admire Alice's conviction here. I certainly wouldn't of drank the whole thing, and would of awkwardly let it stay a couple inches away from my platter.
