Some people are so blind. Heroes don't kill the villains because if they did, it would make them just as bad as them. There's a line that when you cross it you can't go back.
Not to mention vigilantes are able to do things that the government can't. Such as being the first on the scene of an accident or while crime is taking place, when it will take too long for the law enforcement to make it there.

When Spidey teams up with Ironman, Deadpool, Dante or Morrigan, I expect a exchange of witty banter right back towards them not a casual conversation and normal interaction when he talks to them. It's kinda a pet peeve of mines that Spider-Man is being out snarked by characters who kinda make him redundant in that area since he's the original witty hero with a jokey mouth. Can you make Spidey more of a wiseass master please, he makes put downs when someone tries to compete with him in banter in the comics.
