Quarantine has me reading through every page of Castle fanfic again. I've been trying to rectify my "lurking" habits and resolve to review in 2020! Let me start off by saying it honestly takes a lot for me to read a darker story. I know I've read this one before but it wasn't something I would come back to and read over and over again. Please take that as a compliment as it is entirely riveting and gritty to where it made me cringe in spots. Not very many stories move me like that, and it's not necessarily a welcome feeling, but that just goes to show you how well written...masterfully I would say, this story is. I'm sorry if I never commented on it before, because it is a compelling piece of fiction. Thanks for writing it.

Wow! I know my review is very late on this story, but I had to review it. I started it Sunday, and finished it today. This was an amazing story. It had me hooked from the get go. Castle and Beckett feel so real in this story. Your writing is beautiful, and I can't wait to read more from you. You wrote the trauma Kate feels after her ordeal, and her need for escape wonderfully. I was actually sad when this story came to an end. I am pretty picky about reading fanfiction. The characters must be the characters you see on the screen, and grammar needs to be good, and the story needs to flow. This story was all of those things and more. Thank you for posting it, and moreso for writing it.

Such a captivating story. I know fhis is a few years old but so very good. Had read it before but definitely worth the second or third re reading.

This is my second time reading this fic. I found it to be even more amazing. Heartbreaking, Kate's resilience, and fight to get back to her former self , had me in tears several times. And Castles never ending devotion and love for Kate is a beautiful thing. Fantastic story overall!
