Personally, I'm just glad Hugo rescued her. And I wouldn't pay much attention to dark subject matter for this. Hugo is an incredible tale, but as we all know real life is dark. Besides, this is fanfiction after all. :)

I have no idea why this story doesn't receive more reviews. It's a wonderful concept, bridging more off of it than the classic 'growing up' Hugo-type fanfiction and bringing in the history of it. Plus it's artfully written and I think you're doing fantastic. I hope to see more from you, thank you so much for sharing this with us!

I loved this movie! It was cute. And i have to say i was VERY surprised i was able to sit through and watch all of it. I have a REALLY bad fear- Automatonophobia - Fear of any inanimate object that represents a sentient being, eg. statues, dummies, robots, etc. i was so happy i was able to watch it! (But i still have my fear.)

I liked this story it was great!
