Nicely written. I enjoyed it. My only suggestion is refereeing to Robert as Lord Grantham, or My Lord. Only Cora and the Dowager Countess call him by his first name.

This is such a great story! I agree with you - I can't wait to see Thomas gain a lover. Please do continue. I'd love to see how Mrs. O'Brien handles it, and how Thomas and Evan work out.

this is so sweet! i would love a sequel. fics about how folks come together are great (this was great!) but i'd love to see how thier relationship progresses and how it affects them both!

Ooh yay, quick updates! I'm really enjoying the story so far, and I have to say I just love Mrs Patmore in this. So nosy, yet kind. O'Brien makes me so mad sometimes! I'm glad she's leaving the show. Anyway, keep up the good work!

I really liked your story, i think it's off to a great start. Thomas definitely deserves a good friend and/or lover. The only thing that kind of bothered me was that the family name is spelled "Grantham", without the "d". Hope to read more very soon :)

Aww yay for Thomas! But he's a dunderhead for not knowing that Evan likes him. But at the same time, he lives in a world where being who he is is a crime in itself, which is tragic. So I don't blame him for being hesitant! Great start!
