Jesus christ I didnt think it could get worse, it's like everyone is a psychopath. This has literally gone past the point of it having any "realism".

I hate these fics where everyone is literally mentally ill. Some if this stuff genuinely doesnt make sense, like their apathy towards certain situations.

Ugh i hate lily because of this. I mean severus only said mudblood and she doesn’t want to be friend with him anymore lol. Its not like betrayal or getting beat up.. ughh Harry has lousy parents.

Until DNA came along, in the US at least, it usually was the one with the most gold that won; still is in some areas. But I don't read ff to be given a dose of 'reality'. I especially read HPff to find stories that allow me to *escape* from the way the 'real' world works and definitely the opposite of Rowling's crap! I love stories in which AD and the arse wipes that unmercifully bullied Severus get their comeuppance and where Severus' reality becomes a little less dark and dire.
Please help him?
I've followed this story since 2017, but this chapter scared me into thinking that maybe you're not going to.
I'm hoping to see more of this soon and that things are going to start to less dark.

Well, I'm really sorry now that you abandoned this fic. At this point you ~really~ should change the summary in at least two ways. First, it's ~not~ a hurt/comfort fic: it's all hurt and no comfort whatsoever. Second, you should be honest enough to label it ABANDONED, since there's not so much as a hint of a
resolution in the offing.

Though I don't know why it's so hard to write a few chapters in which all four Marotters (thank you, Alethea27! for the perfect sobriquet), and their abettor Dumbledore, get sent to Azkaban for aggravated battery, rape, and accessory to both, as well as all the other crimes they committed. Lupin and Pettigrew are both active accessories since they sometimes physically and always by their presence effectively added to the force used, as is Dumbledore who covered up all their crimes.

(I personally think that child rape deserves a life Azkaban term - worse than execution - or possibly the Kiss, provided the soul suffers after being removed from the body; canon is silent on that point.)

Snape of course should be permanently protected from his remaining enemies and receive the services of mind-healers (for as long as necessary), the remainder of his education, in whatever way is best for him, and living expenses for his entire life, all of the above from the coffers of the Potter, Black, Dumbledore, Lupin, and Pettigrew families. Other victims should get appropriate damages as well. You don't have to describe the process, just indicate that it will occur: give him some hope.

And no, no, no, ~don't~ link Snape romantically with anyone at all. It'd be years, if ever, before he could regard sex with anything but horror.

I can only hope that Hogwarts (which is sentient in many fics) seals the bastard out of his office and that Fawkes rips his wand away and his eyes out.

Dumbledore is an accessory before the fact to child rape and should inhabit the Azkaban cell next to the physical perps. Too bad the Dementors' presence would prevent the other prisoners from treating all three as child molesters are treated in our prisons.

I do hope the Muggleborns insist on calling a Muggle forensic medical team to examine both Snape and the scum. DNA testing was not yet in play, but previous methods would be plenty to establish at least Black's guilt. (Since the crime was non-magical, wand examination wouldn't do it.)

At this point, I think Snape's (misplaced) guilt and utter misery will not decrease any time soon, but it's long past time for rage to join the other emotions. It is not plausible for him to remain miserable ~only~. Now he likely would react with automatic ("accidental") protective magic to any further
physical attack. If it killed the scumbags (a fate too easy for them), he'd no more be blamed for it by DMLE than if a five-year-old's automatic magic had kicked in.
