I believe I reviewed this on ao3 a bit ago (or not, I forget) and i am re reading it on my phone tonight, just as I am enraptured by how beautiful the words and conflict you choose to describe and have royai discuss. every exchange between them grips my heart and doesn't let go, because it's such a deep, sincere, passionate love and care in their considerations of each other and the future. I really can foresee myself re reading this again one day, that is how appreciative I am with the conversations and feelings royai experience and have and in turn, how it makes me feel too.

I've really enjoyed the stories you have in this little series. I thought they were a lot of fun and really poignant. Do you think you'll ever finish this one? I know I have several that remain unfinished so I'm not being judgemental. As much as I would like to see how you go about with this reunion, your life should definitely come first. I hope it's easier now then it was before whatever the harassment was that effected your life on here.

Any case, you have done an amazing job. Be proud of it. :)

i have read this a few days ago and just had to get back to review. this is one of the best royai fics. besides the good lemon, you have justified and gave good reasons for all their dialogues in the manga such as why riza decided really to share her tattoo with him. [giving riza that reason: so he can protect himself is a better one!] the mixing business with pleasure dialogue, how chris knows grumman, why riza asked him if he remembers her and his reply to her, and so much more. seriously, that one in the manga puzzled me. how can you forget someone who gave and showed you so much? that manga panel was really weird for me. i wish you'd get addicted to fma again so you continue this one. :) is roy just about to give her a pair of earrings? the live action is coming out soon, so come back and write more! :D

I just binge-read all of this series and I'm in love. The writing is so exquisitely crafted, it's so lilting and beautiful to read, and I really feel the sincerity of the characters! An excellent job so far, and I look forward to continued excellence in later chapters.

I was so excited to get the notification for this! I saw it about an hour before I had to work and my dilemma was "Do I wait until after work to read it and be distracted all night, or do I read it now and run the risk of going to work crying?" I decided to risk the tears, but fortunately that risk paid off :p

I love how in this chapter we really get a sense of both of them analyzing these concepts and seeing all the facets, without it feeling like a laundry list of facts. The evolution of the mood over the course of this scene was great as well, moving from somber to more playful without feeling jarring or forceful. I can't wait to see what it is that Roy has to show her!

Congrats on a fantastic return. First, the story. Great job! The story is well done. I enjoyed the addition of her grandfather's family. I look forward to where you take this story. Second, the critics. I am so sick of trolls pushing good authors away from writing with harsh and unrealistic cynicism. People cry if you dare to try to interpret a relationship differently than they do. It's universal across fandom and ruining one writer at a time. I am sorry that someone caused you enough grief to push you away from something at which you're good. Try not to let the jealous and obsessive ruin you.
