I've noticed that you frequently omit -ed, -s, -ing, and other word endings. I'm wondering if this could be due to relying on a spell-checker or auto-edit feature. You should realize that those features are not to be trusted. They frequently form plurals by adding 's (Malfoy's for Malfoys, Weasley's for Weasleys), which is wrong.

I have actually typed the word in correctly, and as soon as I hit the space bar to move on, the auto-editor inserts the apostrophe. No kidding! I watch the screen rather than my hands. When it refuses to leave out the apostrophe, I just finish the sentence and then go back and take it out. If I hadn't seen this "phenomenon" myself, I wouldn't believe it.

You always need to proofread after running a spell-checker. (Sorry if I got carried away there.)

"... Dumbledore want me to go after the stone" should be "... Dumbledore WANTED me to go after the stone ..."

"... whenever your back was turn ..." should be "... whenever your back was turned ..."

"Milo point out ..." POINTED

"... Petegrew was never much of an occlumist ..." The word is Occlumens. One who practices Occlumency is an Occlumens. Also, Peter's last name is Pettigrew.

Wow, you REALLY don't like Dumbledore! It's okay ... I'm not crazy about him myself. He needs a Grim Reaper babysitter. I wonder how many "extra" deaths like Harry's are the result of his meddling. Did Hermione or any of the other kids have extra deaths? Just curious.

So much potential as the Reaper challenge always has, but unfinished as far too many of them are. Shame.

This is a great start to your story! I really do hope you plan to finish it - despite the long hiatus - as it is shaping up to be an excellent Reaper story. I love Milo! He's actually a helpful Reaper; most are just whiny bureaucrats. Milo has mentioned specific people for Harry to seek out as friends and has actually given information about them and why they would make good friends. He has also ensured that Harry will be on guard against Dumbledore, the Weasleys, and others who would use him.

While being in Gryffindor puts Harry in close proximity with Neville, I would like to see him in the House of the Loyal Hufflepuffs. It would give him a major break from Ron and Ginny's conniving and spying, and it would bring him into closer contact with people like Susan (an important alliance) and Cedric (a potential friend and mentor). Pomona also seems to be more in touch with her house charges than McGonagall. I'll bet Filius would also make a great Head of House, and he would be extremely helpful when it comes to understanding the Goblins. Both Sprout and Flitwick also seem to be less influenced by Dumbledore and more willing to stand up for their charges than McGonagall. (Heck, so does Snape, for that matter.) Maybe Harry could put his powers of persuasion to work on their first journey and convince Hermione and Neville to join him in asking for a house other than Gryffindor. All three have missed out on friends while growing up, and the Puffs really seem like the right house for that. I'll be interested to see where you take him.

Please don't let your story die of neglect. It has too much potential.
