I LOVE THIS SO DAMN MUCH!

Really enjoyed this story.
At times really thought the writer was cruel int hat she didn't even give Callen 24-48 hours of normal, happy memories of what a real family should have been like.
I am glad that G was able to keep some of his memories of what happen while he was with his team.

So if Nell is in her 20's and Callen is 43 - how many years are there between them?

Hang on - at the foster home she was 3 or 4 and he was 17? Thats a 13 or 14 years difference. THat's not too bad - not even for a married couple.

I hope that eventually their friendship does turn to love - I think they are well suited to each other.

It os not unknown for men to marry theit best friends who happen to be female. Clearly Sam and G are not going to form any reomantic relationship - especially since Sam is already married.

I think Nell and Callen would be great together. I believe there are fics here that are Nallen or Cell romances - I will be seeking them out after I finish this.

Of course he called Nell - it seems that Nell and Callen have had some kind of chemistry and connection from the day Ms Jones arrived at the OSP.

They should hire you to write NCIS LA stories, you always have such good ideas. What is fantastic is we get good ideas and the story gets completed and in a timely fashion. Can't ask for more.

I am glad you did not take it down. If people get upset about this and McBaby that means you can only have one story about his father and family and that makes no senses because you have at least 3 different variations on his family and I love them all. Do not listen to them and keep on writing. it is like people who complain about slash and there is a warning on the story. They need to get over themselves and you keep on entertaining with all of your creative tales about our beloved friends.

Very nice story of Callen finally finding family. And completely believable that he would be angry and feel abandoned once he did discover that his father had left him on purpose.

Good advice from Nell. Glad you've written this story with Calken struggling to adapt to having his Father and Uncle around. Like you've written, he had been through a really tough time growing up. The scars from that would still be evident.
