I'll admit that it's been so long since I've read this story that I forgot what it was about, until I read the summary. However, I did remember your username and that I liked your works quite a bit back then.

It's also good to know that you're making progress in real life. At least you haven't given up on writing, original works or fanfics. Looking forward to hearing more. (In the meantime, I'll just finish reading this story.)

What seems odd is how Conan doesn't try to counteract Ran's claims, which would go something like this:
"Come on, Ran-neechan, I'm not actually knocking out your dad. If I did, it wouldn't be possible for him to make deductions. Plus, he's definitely the one talking."

Kogoro has always been able to show he's smart. He's just really, REALLY lazy when it comes to his detective work 99% of the time .
The silly man could probably be pretty successful on his own if he stopped spouting off accusations the second a single piece of evidence showed up that might incriminate someone .

Anyways this is really interesting and I hope you continue with it.

They finally realize that Conan is Sleeping Kogoro! All they have left to do is connect the pieces and figure out Conan's true identity. I haven't seen Ran suspicious in a long time, so I'm glad to read this chapter, even if its not Conan-being-Shinichi that shes suspecting. I eagerly await the next chapter! ;D

well...I can actually see this happening. Kogoro ain't stupid. He only gets really serious when someone close to him is part of the case, like now it's him &/ Conan.

Let's be honest: those kids aren't that annoying. And I have no reason to oppose the inclusion of Yamamura. But, Kogoro really shouldn't be that smart. He never should be. Never. I'll PM you when I think of sth else to say

Is it bad that when I read Gunma Police, I automatically cringed and started backing away? Of course, my first thought after realizing the sensibility of an inspecter from another area investigating was maybe a more competent police detective that you know probably wouldn't mind helping Kogoro and doesn't see Conan and the gang to often would have been a better choice, or has a subordinate who has Kazuha's number.
