I know this review is super late, but I’ve just gotten into Bleach and I favor the Shunsui x Nanao ship. And I’ve just got to acknowledge good smut when I read it ; this was excellently written! The plot wasn’t too heavy but it gave some context and made the lemon more emotionally charged. Thanks for writing!

Hey this was definitely so much more than mere “sleazy lemon” ok? I loved how you built up to the intimacy. I love how you wrote the hurt and angst. And the lemon was quite something ;) and if it was sleazy, it was in the best possible way for sure! Great piece! And yes, Shunsui and Nanao are my favorite pair too! By the way, if someone can't enjoy a lemon THAT well written, either they aren't old enough to read a lemon, or they've stumbled into the wrong pairing/orientation by accident.

I adore citrus as much as the next 30-something woman, (probably more!), but damn! I read that it wasn't supposed to have a plot, but for me it did. Repression, (sexual or otherwise), can have enormous consequences. For two people repressing feelings and attraction, I can exactly imagine a scenario like this one.

That being said, this was so well-written, I could imagine an entire story just starting here. Or having this as a piece of a larger whole. Because even though it was supposed to be just a sexual one-shot, good writing is as addictive (to me, anyway), as any other drug you could name.

So thanks for the visual (yum! Shunsui!), and thank you for sharing your imagination with me.

Oh my God! It was amazing! And you said that it was just your first time fanfiction! (I can't believe it, that was way too good :D)
I also love this couple and see with a sorrow that there are just a few fanfictions with them, so I'm absolutely with you to make a part 2 for this story!
I think the characters were in their place, maybe Kyoraku (mostly in the first half) was a bit too soft, but right after that he became more of his character :)
