HotelonBoardwalk chapter 14 . 4/4/2019
Amazing work,
I think you and ghost of Bambi are in kahoots, I mean obviously you are but, man the royalty au and the superhero au.

The ending made me so sad.

That epilogue...
My favourite part of the story (besides the epilogue) were the chapters on James’s realisations and Lily’s speech to him. I almost gave up on the fic at first coz I wasn’t feeling it (I think it’s a bit slower paced and not as much comedy as I was used to) but I’m so glad I persisted! It all came together so beautifully in the end.

Omg that ending was devastating and unexpected. I had chills when reading it ...
Gryffindorstudent chapter 14 . 7/15/2018
It was going fine, perfectly fine and then you had to go and break my heart at the end! All I asked for was a happy ending.
Ps: loved it
Marilee Susan Way chapter 14 . 6/20/2018
Reading along, happily passing through the chapters... thoughts, "Oh this is quite good isn't it?" "Look at that snappy bit of dialogue, ha!" "Oh, I love how she pulled that in from canon"... hm, hm, hm, happily reading, "Ha, acknowledging as a euphemism, good one" "Oh there's Harry, aw baby!" read, read, read... "Wait a second... Take Harr-OH CRAP! NOOOOOOO!"

Slayed. I'm completely slayed.

Thanks for writing! (And killing me)
Appalled chapter 14 . 3/27/2018
I’ve not posted a comment on this website for years. About ten. But I’ve come out of hiding to say WHAT THE FRICKEN FRACK?! That was the most magnificent, delicious, hideously horrific ending you could have written. It was sublime in it’s evilness. When reading it, you think it’s going to be a jolly good ending, but then it started to pick up speed, like a rolling stone. And you’re reading it going, “no, no, she wouldn’t. Not in this story. Not today... noooooo!”
Were I a lesser human, I’d swear at you. Instead, I’ll just say ‘well played. Well played.’
Guest chapter 14 . 3/17/2018
I feel so betrayed. This story is amazing all the way through and then you make me want to cry with the last two sentences of the epilogue... how DARE you.
Anyways this is amazing and I love your writing and tysm for all the time you put into it
Prince Pondincherry chapter 14 . 9/19/2017
There was something awesome about Lily saying "our troops."
Oh damn. You just HAD to keep that ending true to canon, didn't you. Somehow it hurts worse than any other James/Lily story I've read. Probably because of how much it seemed James and Lily were going to be able to do for their country, whereas canon James and Lily were fighting the good fight, but honestly didn't seem super-important. Or maybe you're just great at getting me invested in the characters. Too bad I doubt you're ever going to write the sequel, because there's any number of ways Harry Potter in this universe could be interesting.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 12 . 9/19/2017
Well, actually, James, you did offer to Lily that you'd abdicate a number of times. Just not without thinking it over quite this much, and not after trying.
Wow, James. Eight sentences after your father says not to share the Cloak and you start planning whom you're going to share it with. Just wow.
You go Dumbledore! Use your immense wisdom to figure out that Peter might be a spy! Or, at least, somebody with his level of access. And honestly, this is no better than he did in canon, but it still felt like a moment of genius.
That third moment was really a moment of triumph for James. He's finally internalizing what Lily and Sirius and everyone else have been telling him about being the only good man for the job.
"I can aspire to be that halfway decent leader." I love it.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 11 . 9/19/2017
Wow. You seem to have a knack for writing a tremendously understandable and frustrating Lily, in this story and in others. It's funny because in most James/Lily stories, I end up uncomfortable with how strongly James is pursuing Lily, but in your stories, it's always the opposite-I end up frustrated with how long it takes Lily to admit her feelings. So...good job? My feels though.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 10 . 9/19/2017
I love how Lily handled the tension, and she even brought up the pardoning thing, which was perfect.
Ouch. That ending is painful. And I keep waiting for the ...something to drop...can't remember the idiom at the moment...and Peter and/or Snape to be evil.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 9 . 9/19/2017
That last sentence isn't ominous at all. Nope. Nada.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 8 . 9/19/2017
I like how everything is waiting for James to do a good job as king as soon as he actually tries. He's got his own council of talented advisers his age, he's got the old guard of advisers to run the boring stuff and provide wisdom, and (hopefully) he'll have Lily to fix him when he's being an idiot.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 5 . 9/19/2017
Whoa. If that's Lily, I'll be shocked, but also a little impressed.
Prince Pondincherry chapter 3 . 9/19/2017
"I don't scheme, ever." Is this a reference to your other stories where James schemes ALL THE TIME?
So confused! How could Lily not know who he is? From how she acted and what she said, it totally made sense! I guess she could blame some random noble for not fixing things, but it's still a little odd.
Wow. That was a terrible idea, Peter. And geeze, things sure are escalating in the third chapter!
