This is a beautiful piece.

I love that you chose Celeborn to save Lothíriel and I felt her pain and angst keenly. I think you did them justice, especially Celeborn in his days after Galadriel left him for Valinor.

I love your Éomer, his obstinacy and blindness for something so soft as love is something you portrayed very well.

One word of advice though, please edit the text and correct the name of Eorl, because that typo on his name mars the story and I would like to keep it in my favorites forever.

This was an incredible plot. I like the portrayal of the distance in the marriage of Eomer and Lothiriel and all the misunderstanding, because of the lack of communication and expression of what they both felt and needed. Eowyn's scolding to her brother about his own fault about that was really good. If only Eomer didn't need her capture to realize his feelings! The pain during the time of his search and as he was learning of her own character and secret feelings was nicely written. Amrothos' role and story was intriguing as it were the roles (and what a nice surprise the revelation of his fate) of the Jurist and of the lord-elf. An amazing detail of the elven blood effect to Lothiriel and how it changed her life. Loved the epilogue.

I found this story a long time ago but I avoided reading it after I read the first chapter..there was a time when darkness scared me, when I did not want to think of death and that was what I thought this story is, death and darkness and despair. Now I wish I read it then for you draw hope between the lines and there is courage in it and loyalty and above all love. I loved all your characters and I hope you still write. Thank you for this wonderful story

What a heart breaking story. I thought the ending was beautiful. The slow realisation of love, the sea longing... so perfect and well-written. I’m glad that Éomer and Lothíriel resolved their issues and stayed together as long as they were able.
