Excellent story. Like the action and suspense.

Wow, this is a terribly grim little fic. Quite taken by the detail of the thumb-sized hole, yikes. I did think perhaps this might play better as a longer chapter with stronger characterisation and more detail, and there were some minor SPaG issues that, if corrected, might improve this immensely. Nice work x
