Interesting take, the only thing messing up my ‘suspension of disbelief’ is that random sex change with so little fallout, I’d like to think there would at least be some research into weather or not they could return to males before they accepted it as permanent.

I thought the PTSD was pretty clear, and it wasn't unbelievable. I also usually suspend disbelief a little for coincidences or how long it would actually take to die from blood loss but that's normal for stories otherwise it'd be an absolute pain to have to write an absolutely realistic accident in a fictional story, yeah right.
