Found this today and I've been enjoying it immensely. I'm a total fan of brotherhood in stories, so this is fun to see. Also, I love that you included Harriet in such a thoughtful role! I have definitely not run across that before in any other fics, and I find I actually really like the way you write her. You know, with a focus on recovery and blunt honesty and a genuine hope for a better relationship with her brother - I just really appreciated it. Thank you! I look forward to seeing where you take this.

Hmmm. Wonder what those modifications are going to be?! Of course, we know that at some point, John gets a job at a clinic, and moves out of Baker Street and into his own flat elsewhere. (And then he doesn't see Mrs. Hudson again until his reunion with Sherlock is approaching.)
