So last summer my OG fandom friend finally visited me for the first time in 20 years, and we got absolutely mad over Stargate again. Oh man. She still retains an encyclopedic knowledge of SG1 fic, and sent me a million links, this one included. I FINALLY got around to finishing it (Thank you quarantine) and wooooooh, I'm glad I did! I am an absolute sucker for Sam whump, so was VERY excited when Osiris nabbed her :p Well done! Adding in all the Jonah/Thera angst among the action and adventure!? Oh man! And protective daddy Jacob/Selmak! Amazing! Every one of the team was awesome. Thanks so much for this classic Sg1 romp.

Again you write these characters so perfectly. I have read every one of your Sam and Jack stories twice over and my only wish is that you don't stop! Thank you thank you thank you

Yepeeee, thank God there is a sequel and an AU one! I like the way you split it into two stories at the right time - that way we can assume that the difference between "our" reality and this one is Sam coming to Jacks after Tangend (we've all seen the look and the smile and Jacks soft voice after the rescue) and everything before happend in "our" reality also. Good plot and thumbs up for bringing Jacob into game and Selmak with her comments. My heart broke a little when Jack started second love making and this time without "Jonah-Thera" excuse. Pretty strong moment there. And I just realized how come I missed so many stories of yours...than it hit me right in my face...I've read only M rated ones...shame on me.

So...how's that sequel coming along? ;-) (I know, you're writing other things, all of which I will greatly enjoy reading. This is just a friendly note to say, this story was great and I want a sequel.)

Great story! I really enjoyed it.

I love the way the story ends!
I mean, not only because Jack and Sam end up together (even if it make my day every time it finally happens!) but because of the team stuff. I like the idea of Sam having her own team at the same time as Jack. I can totally imagine them going off-world in parallel missions and maybe, sometimes, all together for a special one. Sam deserves it and not only because Jack's being promoted as a General!
Perhaps they would be anxious about not being the one who watch the other's six but it's the way things should have been in the show, at least for awhile.
And Sam's request about Teal'c is so right and so funny! Plus, I guess Jack would love the idea, despite of what he could say to have Teal'c with him ;D Besides, I can easily imagine Teal'c accepting this just to make Jack feel good because I think he's that kind of guy - cover Sam (as he always do with all his teammates) and reassure Jack with a silent look meaning "don't worry buddy, I'll make sure she's going back" ... Well, maybe he wouldn't think it like that but you get my point XD

Anyway. I love this story and if you happen to write a sequel, I'll be in the line to read it!

Yay! I love Jack and Sam, they are so meant to be together :) Sam getting her own team is a good resolution. I love seeing Sam in charge, and I wish they had more of that in the real series. It will be different seeing Sam on a different team, but I am sure she (and Teal'c?) will get into (and out) of as much trouble as the original SG-1. I can foresee several anxious moments for Jack and Sam not to be watching each other's six. But there are lots of opportunity for joint missions ;-) Can't wait for the sequel(s)! Lots of directions this series could go and I can't wait to see where you take it. Thanks for the story!

Didn't see that ending coming. It was great though, kinda sad that Sam is going to a different team, but I suppose it could be worse.
