Wow. That's all I can think right now. This story is just absolutely wonderful and full of life. I really hope to , it looks like you have a good plot starter on chapter 8.

On the sad note that I can personally relate on some level to both Kaidan and Sheoard, you actually did a wonderful job of describing the feelings during, and even after the events. And it does make me feel better to know that someone out there does know how I feel, and is accepting of that. So thank you for shedding light on the matter in a very respective yet accurate manner.

Wow. Ok I just read this whole thing in one go.
I have several things to say, in no particular order.
First off, this is the first fic EVER to make me think that Kaidan was even remotely hot. So congrats on that.
This is also the first fic that actually made me think of the nestbrothers thing as something that might actually be plausible.
The whole thing is incredibly well written.
The rape and the broken past and the feelings and mentality around that whole situation makes me think the author has a good idea what that's really like, just as I do, and that's quite fascinating to read.
The reason for Garrus forgiving Kaidan is actually quite palatable. Which is a hell of a thing to pull off, IMHO.
Also, fuck Allers. Fucking battle tits. I don't give a damn who posted it, she shouldn't have recorded it to begin with.
And that's the longest review I've written in months. I'll be following this, so keep it up.

I do wish I didn't have to choose between Garrus and Kaidan in the game. Even more so now after having read this. Well done!

I really wish you'd revise the story summary. I enjoyed the threesome chapter at the start, but I was totally not prepared for the rape and violence later on. The whole story got much darker and more upsetting than I was expecting.

A very fitting title for this chapter, and I definitely agree that these two needed to come to terms with everything before they could work together again. I love the whole 'nestbrothers' idea.

Gah, poor Shepard... my heart hurts.

Very raw and painful... No wonder Kaidan reacted the way he did in the last chapter. ;_;

The language and passion in this bit was lovely:

"He could hear, distantly, her breathing grow ragged, change to panting whimpers that pleased his hindbrain immensely. Her fingers were clawed against his back and she surged to meet every thrust until, with a wailing cry, she came apart around him and oh, she was clenching down on him and he couldn't stop and he may or may not have screamed as he came, but he would never know because pleasure was drowning out every other sensation and there was no thought, only a timeless moment of darkness."

I liked Kaidan's vulnerability in this chapter as well.

This is, hands down, the best Kaidan/Garrus/Shepard ever. This chapter alone totally made my morning. Rawr. ;)

I read and loved this on the kink meme, and then I lost the link and was so mad at myself. Incredibly excited to find this here and can't wait to read more! :D

I liked it but then I didn't? It's completely different than I thought, really really dark and quite sad and shocking. It was a good story but it kind of wrecked the Shepard's Birthday for me, before it was just a cool story about a the three of them, now it's much deeper and I won't be able to read it again, it won't be the same...maybe you should have done another story before this and not continued from Shepard's Birthday. Regardless great story. Good job. Also I said it was more hurt/comfort and drama than comedy. Xx

Must say that this is fanfic is one of the most interesting Garrus/FemShep fanfics I have EVER read. In a good way! Haha. Very well written, like always. Kaidan is definitely unexpected but I love a good twist! Highfives to you, my friend!

Well, that was certainly interesting. I love everyone's fascination of femshep being with Garrus, but I admit surprise when you had it turn into a threesome with Kaidan. The interactions at the beginning were my favorite part to the whole thing. You captured the characters rather well, I think. This type of story is not my particular cup of tea, but it was interesting to see something that we would consider a mundane, and unimportant part of Shepard's story. No super battle action like we always see, but something where she's just having a mostly normal day. Nice work.
