Charlee56 chapter 10 . 6/18
Excellent ending! I liked this one far better than JK's.
Sorry, Joanne!
One thing you left out, however; what happened to "Private Potter"? A promotion, certainly. A George Cross? A Victoria Cross? A KNIGHTHOOD?
Any combination of the three would have been okay. But something...
Charlee56 chapter 9 . 6/18
Spelling mistakes aside (and plenty of them!), the actual quote is this:
"Quis custodiaes ipsos custodies?"
"Who will guard those who guard us?"
In regards to the near complete authority of the Roman Pretorian guard.
Charlee56 chapter 7 . 6/17
Hmmmm... I thought Luscious Lucius had been convicted of being a Death Eater? Harry did discuss the Malfoy Estate's being taxed to fund the new First Blood Families Project, didn't he? So how is it tjat a convicted anything is addressed as a 'Lord' and is permitted to testify before the Wizengamot over so much as a parking ticket?
Charlee56 chapter 5 . 6/17
Fantastic story, most EXCELLENT CHAPTER!
And on I read...
Lordlexx chapter 9 . 4/14
What's with this "Thomas" bullshit? His name was "Tom". If it was Thomas then his anagram wouldn't work.
Matt chapter 10 . 3/23
Why would he be out of ammunition after firing only eight bullets? Gun clips hold more than that. A large clip can hold up to eighteen bullets. Surely if he were going into battle he would have loaded as many bullets as possible.
Matt chapter 8 . 3/23
What s with your spelling "Harry approached the gleaming plague" A plague is a virulent disease! He had a disease living on the study wall in his home? How exactly did that happen? And he approached it? Was he trying to die? Or are you just horrible at spelling?
Matt chapter 7 . 3/23
Do you not know the difference between a statue and a statute? Because there is a difference, a rather large one. A statue is a sculpture or mold, a physical representation of something made from stone, wood, or metal. A statute, on the other hand, is a law. So, piece of stone or a law. Which is the (blank) of Secrecy? Because you keep calling it a Statue. And as a statue, it wouldn't have any legal standing and wouldn't do much to actually keep the Wizarding World secret unless it had a spell on it that somehow kept muggles from seeing anything magical anywhere in the world. In which case, there's no way to break the Statue without going to wherever it is and physically breaking it. Just saying ...
Matt chapter 1 . 3/22
You say you've tried to fix flaws pointed out in reviews, yet you haven't fixed two of the largest ones. One: Tony Blair was not the Prime Minister of England at the time of this story. The Prime Minister was John Major. Why you haven't bothered to fix that I don't know. Two: Tom Riddle, or Voldemort, was never dumped in an orphanage, and certainly not during World War Two. He was born in the orphanage, and his mother died upon his birth. He was born in 1927, which was not during any war, world or otherwise. He went to Hogwarts from 1938 to 1945, which was during World War Two. This may be where your confusion lies. While nobody ever took him out of the orphanage before he became an adult, he most certainly could not be considered to have been "dumped" there in any manner.
Ricardo Soto chapter 1 . 1/16
Sorry I liked the story but romance was poor especially having to kill off Ron and a way to get him out of the picture. Hardly any development in the romance with Hermione and harry. You put off the whole necklace with charms for too long and completely ignored it. Theirs no way Harry and especially Hermione would put it off just like that. Again poor writing

Great story!
WeisseHex chapter 2 . 12/30/2019
Harry should have just killed Snape!
BelfryBats chapter 2 . 7/21/2019
Enjoyable story so far. Though Snape while terrible isn't quite as responsible for the Potters' murder as others. Of course that does not make him in any way a good or even okay person. To do that would require a lot of retconning and giving non terrible reasons for his actions. Reasons that to the best of my knowledge do not exist in cannon.
Anyway he had no idea what the prophecy meant or would mean, Voldemort decided that. It was that decision that drove Snape from him in the first place. Not really enough to make him as culpable as others in that regard. Though your reasoning about him and about Lily is pretty spot on. That is a twisted obsession and not love, the more you think about it the more messed up it is. I mean what kind of person joins an organization that is focused on subjugating and hurting the sort of person you supposedly love? Also while his reasoning to beg old Moldy might have been save who he could, it still just stays in line with said obsession.
What makes it worse are of all his other actions. Treating children as bad as he did is not in any way okay, especially to the level that Harry and Neville experienced. Then there is the sheer level of pettiness that he displays against Sirius. Sure Sirius was horrific to him in school and technically tried to get him serious injured or killed, but I doubt Peter was that much better. So instead of looking into anything or even just thinking about it logically, Snape just ignores everything just for revenge. Basically doing things designed to get Sirius harmed or killed, instead figuring out what really happened and getting a tiny bit of justice for the person he allegedly loved. Which is a little odd, if he actually cared for Lily.

Guest chapter 10 . 4/24/2019
Well one way or another it's a fine story, but calling it romance well there isn't any what a shame thanks a lot, cause that's what i wanted to read.
Ron and hermione stayed together too long even after the necklace, she didn't even confront harry what he said more or less saying he liked her.
All of a sudden they come together in the end unbelievable sjeesh. instead it was a r/hr not a h/hr story.
