Not to mention that even minor magical pranks on the Dursleys would be considered muggle baiting, which is a crime. So they’re letting child abusing criminals out of their deserved prison sentence, all so that the twins can also become criminals by baiting muggles. Not to mention any pranks they do can’t actually be too bad, otherwise it goes beyond prancing and becomes outright assault.

My point is.. don’t make jokes and then implement those jokes as actual plot developments. It’s stupid.

... the twins being worse than Azkaban would make sense as a brief joke before getting serious and saying Azkaban was where they belonged. But you are actually being serious? He’s letting the Dursleys off the hook so that they can be pranked? Is he, and is everyone else on his side fucking retarded?

One possible prank idea would be, if Dudley's gang members visit him in the hospital, that Dudley changes from his hospital gown to Dudley wearing nappies, a sky blue shirt, a bib, a bonnet and Dudley being forced to suck on a pacifier, and, if he takes it out, then he'd be forced to speak in baby talk. Then Piers, Dennis, Malcolm and Gordon will be disgusted and abandon Dudley.

As a prank, how about varying toaster settings, what might work one day produces "burnt offerings" another and, on yet another day, barely warms the bread.

This is an enjoyable story and I quite appreciate the slow way Harry and Katie are becoming closer.

How about one where they get locked inside with no power during a heat wave?
