Loved it, loved it. I am very glad that Maura did grow a pair. Very relieved that Jane was there to see Constance dive bombing her chances of becoming a senator.

But, and this is a big BUT. I can feel why this was a very difficult chapter to write. Thinking of all the gay people in the world that has lost their parents due to their homosexuality. Not losing their parents to death, but losing them by being denied as their child. Realising that your parents love you but with conditions attached. Never experiencing that ultimate unconditional love from your parents. That is very sad.

I can understand why it was such a hard chapter to write. You must have wanted to strangle Constance, very slowly, with every word you wrote.

My first reaction was - "The f_cking bitch!". I definitely still feel that way, after taking a few breaths to calm down. Angela should have hit her with a fist, not just slapped her.

Now Constance is threatening Jane and her mother. Everything resolves around her. She will lose her supporters, everything that she has worked so hard for. She does not spare one thought, or care, how Maura feels. It is all about her.

Maura agrees to end it with Jane. She is devastated. She cares too much for Jane to allow her mother to ruin her.

I hope she grows a pair.

Maura's first taste? Kikiki... She definitely was not sky, the no panties incident proofed that. Aha! I know. She was unsure of herself, never being with a woman before.

I enjoyed them not only being kicked out of the theater, but banned from all future movie features. They should have stuck to a drive-in theater. Sh!t. My age is showing. You don't get those anymore.

I think Maura is thinking more and more about telling her mother that she is gay. I was expecting her to drop the bomb when Constance chewed her out for the unexpected Q&A at the radio show.

I can sense trouble brewing with Maura's mother not wanting to have lumch with Pamela, seeing now that Jane and Maura are girlfriends. I think Maura is also expecting big trouble from her mother. Especially after her asking Angela if she ever had a problem accepting Jane as a lesbian.

I am very glad that Jane forgave Maura. Also that they both admitted that they want to see what is happening between them, calling it a relationship.

The intimate sex between them stays hot. Gets my heart beating faster. Ideal cardiovascular exercises. *big smile*

Yes, Constance is massively homophobic. If that is to come out in her campaign for Senator she will lose all homosexuals' votes and most definitely the campaign.

I loved the fact that Pamela is a lesbian and that she is so subtle that Constance did not realise or suspect it at all. After being told, Constance feels so betrayed that she cuts off her nose to spite her face by not accepting the donation from Pamela.

Maura saying to her mother that Jane is nobody, with Jane hearing it, must have cut through Jane's heart like one of her sharp chef knives. Maura did apologise, but like Jane, I would need time to process that remark.

I can sense that if a relationship develops between Jane and Maura, which is what all readers will and must have hoped for, it will cause major problems between Maura and her mother, possibly leading to problems between Jane and Maura.

Now that was hot! Scorching, breathtaking and so wetting! *big sigh* I was just this side of hyperventilating.

This makes me wish I did not stop smoking eight years ago. A cigarette would have gone down nicely now.

From seeing Jane for the first time, followed by her dream about Jane, sampling the party food, the dinner date that led to the kiss, Maura has been strung tight like a rubber band abour to snap. I think it has just snapped.

It I am reading correctly between the lines, Maura has never been sexually tempted by a woman. She will have to face that, plus the added problem of her mother being a total homophobe.

I like the pace of your story. It moves from the one encounter to the next without filling it with clutter. Even at this fast pace, it flows beautifully.

I am so captivated by this very first chapter. Absolute brilliant writing. Putting Jane and Maura together on a totally different field than the norm, have me intrigued to get to know them.
