I was freaking out! Why? Because Vanellope was in a lot of danger without knowing it! *sigh* At least it all ended well.

I think you could have done more with the kid who'd been playing Heroes Duty. Maybe a stunned/outraged cry of "Mr. Litwak!" Or perhaps a friend of his was watching and says, "Dude! You just got team killed by an NPC!"

That said, the "headcanon" this was based on was pretty...detailed. So I like what you did with the rest of the story. Calhoun being scared of losing another loved one more than angry about her being there. Or perhaps angry that Vanellope scared her like that.

I think hugging her on the tram back from Fix-It Felix Jr might have been a bit of overkill though.

I did just catch one error, though. Earlier on in the story (first paragraph or so I believe), you have Sugar Rush all in lower-case letters. And when Felix goes to hug Vanellope and Tamora, you referred to them both as women (don't know if that was intentional or not, as little Vanilla Bean is only 9.) :)
