Well, that was certainly an interesting one-shot. That's something you definitely don't see often - a pregnant woman in a one-shot. So you're definitely getting an A in the originality section, dear. *laughs* But I thought it was neat. I mean the poor woman clearly needed some loving too. Considering the circumstances, I'm glad that it was Daryl and that he was gentle and considerate with her.

I think that Kate was a very good match for Daryl. They'd both been through hell in their lives and lost the person they were closest to so they can understand where each other are coming from and how they're feeling. I think they'd be able to help each other through it eventually, when the wounds weren't so fresh. It was nice to read about the interactions you'd written that she'd had with Merle and Daryl before sh*t went south quicker than a hooker's panties on a two for one Christmas Eve special. I knew Daryl was going to take it really hard but how could he not? He and Merle were close. That was the closest friend he'd ever had. That was his BROTHER.

Once again, the smut was GREAT. I got a little giggle out of him blowing so soon but Norm's said in interviews before that that's how he wanted Daryl to be if they ever wrote sex scenes in for him. Unsure and nervous and yet really innocent in a way too. So I thought that was neat to see. The poor guy was able to hang in there better the second time around though. So that has to count for something. I'd say he redeemed himself there. *laughs* Of course, to us women, when a man does that, it's not like we're going to pick on them. Clearly we're either doing a good job and they just can't help themselves or it's been a long time for them or they've NEVER had something like that done before. Either way, the woman has to be doing something right or they wouldn't blow in the first place. *laughs*

I liked how cautious and tender you wrote him being with Kate. That was certainly something that was needed at that point because of her situation with being prego and all. So that was a very nice touch on your part, dear. Most men are grossed out by even the THOUGHT of a pregnant women, much less having SEX with them! So that was sweet that Daryl was able to overlook that. Pregnant women need love too. They clearly got it to get that way in the first place. *laughs*

All in all, once again, I really enjoyed the story. I thought it was very well-written and well-detailed so it was easy to understand and easy to follow along with the plot line. I liked the pairing and I think you did another great job with this one.

I love this. The whole thing was very well written. I was a little confused about when this was supposed to take place or if its AU, but the piece holds its own so I enjoyed it regardless. It totally makes sense to me that her being pregnant would be a turn on for him, based especially on the way he is with Judith it just fits that despite his pushing people away he wants to be a dad & have a perfect little family just like anyone else. Great work!

This oneshot is so damn good, and so hot it had me fanning my face and giggling like a kid who just learned about the birds and the bees. And Daryl... ah Daryl. I heard Norman Reedus say that he doubts there is a love interest ahead for Daryl, but I still keep my fingers crossed for season 4... you never know, right?
